Most cities have at least 2 rock type commercial radio stations, at least one of which will be part of the Australia wide Austereo Network. Classical music is largely broadcast be the government owned ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation), who also run TripleJ, which is best described as an "alternative" Australia wide station.
